Stephen Ho MD, FRCPC

Dr. Stephen Ho is a member of our iSITES physician team.  He is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at the Vancouver General and UBC Hospitals and is currently the Head of the Division of Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Ho has been a member of the faculty at the University of British Columbia since 1997 and served as the Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program for ten years. In 2013, he was promoted to the rank of Clinical Professor. Regionally, he is the Medical Practice Lead for Interventional Radiology for the Lower Mainland Consolidated Region.

Nationally, Dr. Ho serves the medical community through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He represents BC, Alberta and the Yukon as a member of the National Specialty Committee, which sets the standards of practice and training in Radiology across Canada. He is also currently a member of the team responsible for the implementation of the newly recognized subspecialty of Interventional Radiology in Canada.

Internationally, he was a Refresher Course Subcommittee Chair for four years for the Radiological Society of North America. Apart from medicine, he also serves the community previously as a member of the Board of Directors and now as a Trustee of Vancouver College, an independent Catholic boys’ school.
