Lianna Rushworth  Kinesiology Intern

Lianna is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree at UBC. Lianna was initially drawn to Kinesiology by her love of sports, passion for nutrition and her desire to help others. She has always carried an interest on how the body responds to stressors and how to prevent injuries before they occur. She continues to be inspired by the many ways exercise can benefit others.

Though she is currently considering many possible career paths she hopes to find a career where she can have a direct and positive impact on others.

Lianna was drawn to CHANGEpain by its patient centered care and how education has a role in the treatment of chronic pain. She also appreciates the multidisciplinary health care community working together to treat chronic pain.

During her free time, you can find her in the gym, playing basketball or soccer, and enjoying the outdoors.
