MSP MEDICAL SERVICES FAQs
You can have two or more MSP-covered appointments on the same day with different physicians. For two in-person appointments, the two physicians must be of different specialties and treat different areas.
Everyone will respond differently. You will co-create a customized care plan with your care team, which may include services outside of changepain, private pay medical services, allied health rehab services and/or MSP group medical visit.
Yes. The criterion for urgent referrals is any one or more of the following:
- Medically stable Cancer patients requiring urgent procedures
- Urgent multidisciplinary team assessment (private pay only)
- Patients with < 3 months onset radicular pain (radiologically plus clinically abnormal findings)
- Complex regional pain syndrome or Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)
- Non-responsive Depression (ketamine infusion)
- Severe neuropathic pain (lidocaine or ketamine infusion therapy)
