Yashada Nabar

Yashada is a dentist with double master’s degrees in Public Health from the UK & Canada. After working with international non-profits such as United Way & Greenpeace, she decided to move to Canada and pursue her dream of working towards improving primary care delivery. 

She feels driven to work towards public health issues pertaining to women’s health & mental health. She was a Peer Leader representing Canadian youth at the United Nations “Youth As Peacebuilders” forum in Vancouver in 2017. She hopes to dedicate her life towards working to ensure efficient health care delivery and advocate rights of marginalized women.

In her free time she enjoys  reading, hiking, cooking and trying out different cuisines in Vancouver. She is hoping to see the Northern Lights in Yukon this year.
